SatFax

Voice over IP (VOIP) works great but sending faxes over an Internet connection doesn’t.  SatFax solves that problem, allowing users to send faxes over any IP connection, including satellite, wideband IP, and cellular. Transcendent Global Networks is a stocking distributor of SatFax products and services, and supports a dealer network across the nation.

Your fax machine plugs into the SatFax Fax Terminal Adapter (FTA) which converts your fax document into data files and sends them to SatFax’s servers. The servers convert the data files back into faxes and sends them to their final destination on the public switched telephone network (PSTN). Once the fax has been completed, an acknowledgement is sent back to the originating fax machine. Call detail recording services are even available for Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

The SatFax FTA has a built-in voice adapter allowing you to send VOIP traffic from the same appliance. SatFax can even host your VOIP traffic for you, providing your company a reliable and cost effective way to send fax and VOIP traffic across any IP network.
